Amazing staff, prime location, delicious breakfast, spacious and comfortable room, professional personnel.

Nothing that I didn't like.

My friend and I had a rest in September 2018. I liked it all. I can offer to add milk porridge to the breakfast menu. The overall impression of the hotel is beautiful. If it is possible to visit Rethymno again, we will definitely stay here.

It's not like that.

Great, brand-new hotel. I liked it all! The staff is ready to help in any matter. Breakfast is great. It's very close to the beach. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

There were minor flaws, but not critical. Some of the maids didn't clean the room well. They did not provide towels for the beach.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, as it was just a few steps away from the beautiful beach. I loved being able to easily walk to the old town and explore the main roads for island adventures. There were also plenty of restaurants in the area, offering a variety of delicious options. The breakfast at the hotel was truly exceptional! There was such a wide selection of food, including mouthwatering desserts, fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries, and eggs/omelettes. The breakfast area itself was stunning, with the option to sit on a terrace overlooking the seaside or by the private pool area. The room was spacious, comfortable, and stylishly designed. The bed was very cozy, and I appreciated the quiet AC and blackout curtains for a restful sleep. The room also had great amenities, such as a smart TV with Netflix, a kettle with daily restock of tea/coffee, and a delightful balcony with a lovely view. The staff at the hotel were professional, welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces. They even went above and beyond to alleviate my concerns after a recent earthquake in the area. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my stay.

The parking situation was not ideal, and we had difficulty finding a spot close to the hotel. the soundproofing could have been better, as we experienced some noise disturbances from outside.

The Melrose hotel in Rethymno is just lovely. Perfect location, very friendly staff, and very clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. The hotel is located just a 3-minute walk from the beach, restaurants, mini supermarkets, and souvenir stores. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view from the terrace. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed.
